Rosie and Richard  House

Arcobaleno was started by Rosie, who sadly passed away in 2019.

Her interest in fabric, stitching and painting began when she was very young.  She
chose the name "Arcobaleno", which means "rainbow" in Italian, as it reflected the never ending possibilities of creating unique handcrafted items.

Carrying on where Rosie first led me, I take much of the inspiration for my lamps, and other creations, from 'objets trouves', letting the objects suggest what to do with them.

Willing to try anything (once at least!), if you have something you think could look good turned into a lamp, let's discuss it.

With a lifelong passion for working with wood, I have recently started to experiment with copper pipe as well, and have developed a range of lamps, candlesticks and hooks from this lovely metal.

Other ideas and projects often pop into my mind, so if you visit me at a craft fair you may well see something totally new and different.
